Somerville Playgroup

Somerville Playgroup is a positive and fun-filled learning environment for children aged 0-5 years.  We provide a range of unstructured play experiences for children, and opportunities for their parents and grandparents to build friendships and find peer support.

This is run in partnership with PlaygroupWA.

Blokes, Kids & a BBQ @ KMCC with Hilton Dads

BKB offers quarterly sessions for Dads, Grand-Dads and male carers, with their kids.

The sessions run on Saturdays from 10am-12noon.    In 2025 they will be held on: 

15 March, 17 May, 16 August, & 15 November

It’s the perfect opportunity for your children to enjoy some free play, whilst you get to know other fathers, and build friendships.  You’ll be giving your partner a break too!

It’s FREE.    All food , equipment, and activities are supplied.

New!   Peer Support Group for Parents – Nurturing Confidence

Join Dana from Nurtured Bub for a free parenting meet-up at KMCC, where we’ll chat, learn, and support each other on this incredible journey of raising little ones.

○ Sharing tips for overcoming common breastfeeding challenges.
○ A chance to ask questions and get practical advice.
2.  Gentle Sleep Discussions:
○ Realistic expectations for your baby’s sleep.
○ Simple, gentle tips for navigating developmental changes.
3.  Parenting with Connection:
○ Why responding to your baby’s cues is so important.
○ How to nurture a secure and loving bond through everyday moments.
4.  Open Q&A:
○  Bring your questions! This is your chance to talk about what’s on your mind and get personalised, experience-based advice.
5.  Social Connection:
○ Chat with other parents in a friendly, informal setting.
○ Share stories, swap tips, and make new connections with like-minded families.
